Are you having difficulty accessing Charlie's videos?

Do you click on a Video Link and nothing happens?

Do you click on a Video Link and get taken back to the Introduction Video?

If this scenario is happening (you click on the link to view the Lesson Video and nothing happens or you are taken back to the Introduction Page, the page with the small video in the upper right hand corner) you are getting caught by our "Gatekeeper".   What the Gatekeeper Technology does through the use of a "cookie" is recognizes computers from which users provided their email access in order to have access to Charlie's Videos,

Here is how the System should work;

  1. You visit the Introduction page and provide your email address to gain access to Charlie's Instructional Lessons.
  2. When you enter your email address, you are re-directed to Charlie's First Lesson, your email address is added to our email list so that you receive follow up emails to the rest of Charlie's Lessons, at the same time the "Gatekeeper" places a "cookie" on your computer so that it will "recognize" you when you return for future lessons and not return you to the Introduction page.

Where there can be a "Break Down", What You May Be Experiencing;

  1. If your computer's browser security settings are auto deleting cookies, cache and/or History then you will be "looped" back to the Introduction page because the Gatekeeper is not finding the "cookie" thereby not recognizing you as having previously provided your email address for access.
  2. If you receive your emails on various computers or have your email forwarded to another email address, the Gatekeeper will only recognize the original computer from which you provided your email address.
  3. If you forward the emails to a friend they will be re-directed back to the Introduction page and asked to enter their email address .

If you are experiencing this issue please take a quick look at your settings to see if "cookies" are being automatically deleted, then try entering your email address again on the Introduction page.

What you can do to solve the problem

If you normally have or you find that your computer's security setting automatically delete, cookies and browser history either at a set time or everytime that your computer is shut down, they you will want to change that setting at least for the two week time period during which you will be sent Charlie's Instructional Videos via email.
